About:

USA Kayaksurf Worlds 2011:

It was an incredible experiece the two weeks we were there. It was the first time I was with the Kayak Surf Selection in a world championship, and also the 1st time I was in USA. I was really happy to be there with friends surfing all the day. The main bad point of the competition was the uncertainity because of the waves.

World kayaksurf scene:

I believe that the sport is developing year by year and we are earning voice in the medias.

Future perspectives:

To improve my surf and tricks!

Australia 2013:

Perfect place to take place the Worlds! I hope to be there next year!

Last words:

I want to thank my club, Real Club Nautico San Sebastian. Especially Edu Etxeberria and Urko Otxoa, that had teach me all I know about kayak surf, and without their help, it will be impossible to achieve my goals.

Mundaka 2012:

I love mundaka, I love the wave at mundaka and I love surfing against EDU. The Basque riders run a fantastic event. Winning the IC and HP finals this year was a real highlight of my surfing career.

British 2012:

The brits this year was excellent, the standard of surfing in the UK is world class.The Welsh were really friendly and welcoming and run a great event. Winning the HP and 2nd in the IC completed a great year for me.

Kayaksurf evolution:

I think boat manufacturers are really pushing the evolution of the sport by designing boats (MEGA PHANTOM) that go faster.The new boats are helping us get bigger arials and closing the gap with waveskis. The future of kayaksurf is going faster and going bigger!

IC or HP / favourite class:

I don't really have a favorite I really enjoy them both but I surf hp more than ic.

kayaksurf.net is an excellent website it gets a lot of exposure for kayaksurf.

Future projects:

At the minute its training for the Worlds Australia 2013 training with my brother Jake and our world class coach Dessie Mc Glinchey !
